Jesus Christ/CEO
Jesus Christ, who is God, came as a baby to planet earth to show he is not to be feared. He lived most of his life in Galilee until he was baptized at around age 30 by his cousin and prophet, John. Jesus immediately began his life work of healing the brokenhearted and restoring trust in his word by making God's character known. He gave a few sermons but most of his time was devoted to meeting the basic needs of marginalized people of his day like women, children, lepers, the crippled, the poor and the blind. He was sharply criticized for befriending prostitutes, thieves and tax-collectors but that did not deter him from giving unconditional love to all.
In fact, he loved so fiercely that in the end, it cost him his life. He was labeled a fraud and rabble-rouser, tortured and then nailed to a criminal's cross. There, he laid his life down for everyone in order to restore the truth that he can indeed be trusted to heal and restore our relationship with the Divine.
Jesus was resurrected and presently lives in the hearts and minds of people everywhere who are passionate about sharing the good news about him as much as they did 2,000 years ago. Jesus is intimately involved in the day-to-day activities at Live 2 Know Him and we want it to stay that way.

In Loving Memory of Founder, Michael Car
January 1962 - October 2010
Michael's passion was to share Christian principles of love with anyone and everyone who would listen. After reaching a low point of weighing nearly 500 pounds and being sentenced to a drug rehab program - God intervened in Michael's life and began the healing process. Since then, Michael had personally experienced Jesus Christ and was convinced its not what you know its who knows you! Michael made his home in Northern California where he enjoyed the outdoors with friends and family. When Michael wasn't fighting for freedom and peace - he loved riding his mountain bike with Tequila and Luna - his two canine buddies.
